     Pinot Noir, the grape of Burgundy and cooler wine producing climates where the grapes are afforded a longer growing season to mature and develop. Depending on the vineyard's terroir and wine maker's style, wines from this grape can be light & bright or rich and full bodied.     An old grape, the Cabernet Franc languished for decades as a low level blending grape in the Bordeaux, but coming into its own recently we are seeing many more 100% Cab Francs now. For those that want to expand from the main list and investigate some of the smaller varietals, this is a great starting point!
